1. What are some ways the Christian gospel is perceived in our culture?
To many individuals, the Christian gospel is seen as selective and intolerant. Although we are all free to accept the gift of salvation through Christ, He tells us in John 14:6 that He is “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” To many, this will seem intolerant and almost haughty. How can a God who wants nothing more than to have a relationship with us say that there is only one way to do so?
